Oncology Patients Needed

The Georgia Branch of the International Institute of Medical Qigong is searching for volunteer oncology patients to participate in a 60 minute medical qigong therapy session. Our current students require two weeks of exposure to oncology in order to qualify for graduation. Please consider donating your time so that they may practice their skills.

What you need to know:  Qigong therapy is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is similar to acupuncture but does not use needles. Qigong therapy is a “qi emission” technique, which means practitioners emit qi from their hands to the patient with the purpose of healing. It is comparable to other energy based healing systems such as Healing Touch, Barbara Brennan Technique, Touch for Health, Quantum Touch, etc… More information on medical qigong therapy is available at www.TheRisingLotus.com Participants will be asked to lie on a massage table, fully clothed, face up and relax for about 45 minutes. Participants are asked to attend only 1 healing session. However, if interested, participants can schedule multiple sessions. Sessions are being offered at our Dunwoody office on January 28 and 29, 2012 and again March 15 to 19, 2012. If interested please contact Christina J Barea at 404-721-2326 or via email at Christina@therisinglotus.com Thank you!
